I have a 99 dollar watch which I got in a Wal-Mart in Nebraska when my Seiko went out on me. my Dockers and tee shirts are from the Gap or I splurge and got to Banana Republic. Or Macys for Dockers. its time for a JC Penny run I'm running low on socks and indies. This is not because I'm an ascetic or I'm saving for an 8 grand M9 or D3x or more for a Hasselblad CFV39 its because I just don't value these things any more. Acquiring something for eight grand is beyond my comprehension right now even if it was a key part of my existence. But I'm working on it. My rent is a tad high as things normally go though I guess I value my geological positioning. And I value shoes I'm wearing Clarks now which cost 140 bucks. They look like Nikes. Though they were selling Mephisto' s for three times that. Some people have money. I guess I could have found something to cover my feet for fifty but value walking. As I shoot as I walk and its my only exercise. I value glass over camera bodies. But the bottom line is format. And full frame in any direction for me is a key thing. I value air condoning and mine is noisy. When the ozone layer starts sucking out cows and horses I'll turn mine to energy saver. -- Mark William Rabiner mark at rabinergroup.com > From: Tina Manley <images at comporium.net> > Reply-To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Date: Sun, 1 Aug 2010 15:41:22 -0400 > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Subject: Re: [Leica] Lincoln Center Fountain silhouettes at night > > It depends on your priorities.
