I too had a worry on the "radiation", and the costs could be high unless
it is seen for what it is: not an importation but a travelling camera for
charity.

What about a "day in the life" type concept. We all choose a day, go out
and shoot Kodachrome and send one roll each to Peter. Not the romance of
the traveling M3, but safer and cheaper, and then there would be a ranges
of Leicas M's and Screw.
