Impressive, for a number of reasons.  The Zeiss M 15/2.8 is a
retrofocus design, so the vignetting is less because the angle as the
light exits the rear element is less than designs where the lens
protrudes further into the mount throat.  It is a different design to
the Leica R 15/3.5, though, which I think is what Mark was referring
to.
