George, sometimes texting is very convenient AND cheap. The other morning I 
was sitting in my hotel room in Boston and was carrying out a 30 minutes 
chat with my son (on Facebook) in the UK, while processing pictures on the 
side. To do this by phone would have cost a fortune in roaming charges.
