Unfortunately, the Moravian Tile Festival (!) is no longer also taking place in town -- I think that was the previous weekend. It's kind of a weird feeling -- it feels good to have mostly sorted through the 50 years' accumulated things, picked out what we want to and have room to keep, gotten the rest hauled off to the auction house -- but it's pretty odd so see my stuff, our stuff, my mom's stuff... there in the auction house. My, um, process seems to involve taking pictures of some things before letting them go. So here are some snaps of some of the artifacts... an odd collection, because some are things I took pictures of so people could try to appraise their value, some are things I remember being fond of as a kid, and some are remarkable (often "As Seen on TV!") examples of the sort of gadgety gizmos my dad just loved to keep buying. Is it partly a Healey project?
