Subject: [Leica] IMG: Conservation of a Ptolemaic octadrachm

This coin was underwater for a couple of millennia and had distracting
deposits
which professional conservators (NCS) removed. I photographed it before and
after.

Ptolemy IV, ruled 221-205 BC, portrait of Arsinoe III as Arsinoe II.

The images are clickable, the photos were taken months apart and the "after"
images had more diffusion in the light path.
