Subject: [Leica] OT: Leica CL meter calibration

I have used a wonderful, pocketable CL kit with the 40 Summicron and
90 Elmar-C for years to shoot Tri-X. I took it out the other day and
noticed the meter is off by about 4 stops. I use one of those C.R.I.S.
adapters with a 386 silver oxide cell...can't get the mercury cells of
course...so I went and got a new one. No luck, the meter is still off.
What's the best solution? Have it recalibrated? Anybody know how much
DAG or Golden Touch charges for that? Other solutions? I've seen a
website <http://www.ihagee.org/batt-adapt-us.pdf> that claims they
have the solution (another adapter) but I'm afraid the meter might be
toast. Any ideas? Any comments would be appreciated.
