Subject: [Leica] IMG: Sign of the times

Several months ago a large furniture plant stood where this photograph
was taken. Idle plants are not uncommon in Western North Carolina; once
known as the furniture capital of the world. Most furniture is now
manufactured in China. Textile manufacturing is another once thriving
industry that has moved on within the past decade.
