STEVE BE EFFING SURE. DO. I TOOK ILFORD, I TOOK KODAK. PROBABLY SIX ROLLS
OF THE FIRST AND MORE THAN A DOZEN OF THE SECOND. I GOT MIXED RESULTS,
ESPECIALLY AT FIRST BUT CAME TO THE UNCERTAIN CONCLUSION I PREFERRED THE
KODAK. ON THE OTHER HAND THERE WAS SOMEONE ON THE LUG ABOUT A YEAR BACK
POSTING PICTURES OF ASTOUNDING BEAUTY -- LIKE EARLY SILVER GELATIN PRINTS --
TAKEN WITH THE ILFORD. ME, I MUCH PREFERRED TRI-X TO BOTH OF THEM BUT NOW
I'M WANTING TO SHOOT SOME FILM AGAIN I REALIZE THE TRI X IS PRESENTING
EXPENSES I CAN'T CURRENTLY AFFORD. THINKING OF GOING BACK TO THE C-41. I
SENSED THE KODAK WAS A BETTER FILM ALL IN ALL, FOR MY TASTE, BUT THOUGHT,
HEY, I'LL ASK AROUND AND SEE WHAT OTHERS THINK SO WHERE'S THE GODDAMNED
CRIME IS WHAT I WANT TO KNOW.

I'm probably only allowed to use all caps when it's Friday in Krakatoa
(which, many will recall, is "east of Java"). If so, many apologies.
