When I finally finished the roll of C41 color that was in my SLR, a few months ago, I went to Wal-Mart, which had always done 1-hour color processing, and was told they had quit it over a year ago. They now send it out, and it takes about a week. They recommended Walgreen, which still does 1-hour C41, so I took it there and got back a low-resolution CD, not the high-resolution that Wal-Mart had always provided. I packed my film cameras away and committed to digital.
