A 1.5 crop is half frame.  (roughly 18x24) a 35mm piece of film cut in half.
But a sensor.
A 2 crop is half that.
The main problem now is you don't get to do what everyone else in the
digital ball game is doing. Shootin in the darkest alleys with cheap slow
zoom lenes and getting everything and iso 1600 is your slow speed.
You can shoot 400 maybe with third party anti noise software while using
your anti vibration technology. And of course you have depth of field wide
open the other guys have to stop to f8 or more to get.
