Sorry to hear about your less then happy purchase, I've been in a similar situation. Front element polishing and recoating may not be too expensive unless you send it to Solms. There are one or two places in the States, George mentioned one, which will do it for a reasonable price. Being that your close to Solms get a price from them and from the place George mentioned, FocalPointLens.com, They have good reviews regarding front element repair.
