My only 35mm SLR VF experiences: Nikon F FtN F2 F5 N90 Canon 10D 20D 5D Leica R3 R8 R8 wins in that line up with a very significant lead. So I feel very happy in my ignorance, continuing to feel I have the best available Digital SLR VF. ;~) Regards, George Lottermoser george at imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Mar 12, 2010, at 11:20 AM, grduprey at mchsi.com wrote: > The F's mirror assembly is far superior to the current Nikon Line, > very well built and far quieter than the current Nikon line, Period. > > As for Viewfinder brightness, I'm with Doug, SL #1, then the R8. > the rest just don't cut it. > > Gene > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Doug Herr <wildlightphoto at earthlink.net> > To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> > Sent: Wed, 10 Mar 2010 21:46:24 -0600 (CST) > Subject: Re: [Leica] Digital SLR viewfinders suck. > > Chris Williams wrote: > >> So we need a D3 body and an F VF?
