I honestly cannot remember when or where I bought it but I think it most likely was in the seventies. In July of 2000 I had the body and lens CLA'd and brought back to spec by Sherry Krauter of Golden Touch Camera Repair. She is probably the preeminent repair person on this model (not to take away from her general preeminence on most things Leica). I have not used the camera in the last 4 or 5 years as I have completed my transition to digital but I do regularly run it through its shutter speeds to keep it lubricated. I just ran a roll of film through it and everything including the meter seems to be ok (except I just realized I didn't try it with a flash). The camera is quite clean except there is a light ding about the size of a pencil lead on the top plate and a few normal rub and wear marks. There is very little brassing. It comes with the strap, a UV filter, a generic rubber lens hood, front and back lens caps, a body cap, the owner's manual and the original case (which has a broken zipper); also two WeinCell MRB625 batteries and two Exell Z625PX Zinc Air batteries. I will take $525.00 plus insured shipping at cost to be determined. If you want to use paypal please add 3%. If interested please contact me off-list. If it doesn't sell here this weekend it goes off to be sold elsewhere. --Bob Baron / Oklahoma City / rbaron at concentric dot net
