Subject: [Leica] ted leaving the lug?

I'm slow in finding these things out -- probably because i'm still getting
the digest, so I apologize for missing the thread.

I came to this list ... holy crikies ... twelve years ago -- can it possibly
be? I'd just signed up for a documentary photography class taught by a REAL
PHOTOGRAPHER and i was so full of wind and money i bought myself a leica
which I proceeded to do nobody any good with but years on the lug and the
express help, mentoring, and encouragement of Ted Grant really turned my
photography around. Ted's always been one of the rarest of people -- the guy
at the top of the ladder who's not sniffing the air and admiring the view,
but rather reaching back down to help the people behind him.
