I actually drove from dinner in the park to where we were staying outside the El Portal gate seeing only 2 other cars the whole way out. I think the only folks there were photographers. Ran into one workshop but I don't know who was leading it. Also met Michael Frye, an expert on that area whose book, "The Photographer's Guide to Yosemite" I highly recommend. Thanks for your kind post and let me know when you want to go! :-) Best, Bob Bob Adler Palo Alto, CA http://www.rgaphoto.com ________________________________ From: philippe.amard <philippe.amard at sfr.fr> To: Leica Users Group <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Sat, February 27, 2010 9:25:55 AM Subject: Re: [Leica] Sierra Nevada Yes, just another instance when I wish I had .... Kuddos Bob! I like your depiction of the place in pictures and in words, this sense of no other place like it, a shared feeling , in other circumstances.
