I assumed it meant that there were sumptuous rooms below, where one could rest after a huge meal. After all, at home my father would sack out on the den couch after a major feed. So, after the meal I went downstairs to the Rest Rooms. To my shock, there were toilets sans sofas. How incredibly daft. When I need the toilet it is not for a rest! It is about as far as one can get from the traditional French pissoire, which is for both sexes with access to the cubicles for all users via the urinal. :-) NO ARCHIVE On 22 Feb, 2010, at 15:14, philippe.amard wrote: > Language puzzles me - I had thought that a Rest Room would be where you relieved, stress ... ? > I'm so happy to learn from you all everyday. > > Good eye Jim, as always. > > Amiti?s de Metz > Philippe > > > > > Le 22 f?vr. 10 ? 03:39, Jim Shulman a ?crit : > >> >> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/focusit/take+your+pick+sm.jpg.html >> >> >> >> Bessa R2a, CV 21/4, Tmax 400 at 800 >> >> >> >> Jim Shulman >> >> Wynnewood, PA >> >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> > > NO ARCHIVE > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
