Subject: [Leica] Yosemite...

I have 3. I keep 2 in my pocket. I also have AC power in my vehicle. 
All bases covered!
And I don't think it will be that cold.

it's my assumption too, but of course it may have to be fully recharged, 
rather than just warmed (which would be nice).

I'd also recommend trying ND graduated filters too so that you can balance 
the foreground and sky exposures.  Lee do a kit called the RF75 which is 
designed for rangefinders.  A 2 stop ND grad is a useful peice of hardware 
when doing landscapes.

Given that it's likely to be cold, plenty of batteries may also be a good 
idea.
