"Take a tripod and experiment with ND filters" I'd also recommend trying ND graduated filters too so that you can balance the foreground and sky exposures. Lee do a kit called the RF75 which is designed for rangefinders. A 2 stop ND grad is a useful peice of hardware when doing landscapes. Given that it's likely to be cold, plenty of batteries may also be a good idea. Have a great trip.
