Believe it or not Jim,

Sunday turned out to be a relatively warm and dry spell :-)

Tonight, the temperatures are forecast to be the lowest for years, -25?C
or so, the canal is frozen over and partially impassable for the barges,
and it's started snowing steadily again.

Worst of all - the catfood has just run out and Posy is already moaning
- so it's a snowy trudge to the local supermarket early tomorrow -
she'll just have to put up with a tin of Tuna until then.

Cheers
Douglas
