I am entering two portfolios for a couple photo competitions. The
slideshow galleries are not the ones they will see. I will upload the
images (in the order presented here) to their server.

If you are interested in commenting, please send me email
richard at imagecraft.com or richard.lists at gmail.com. I must receive any
comments by 7PM PST Jan 27 for it to be of any use as the deadline is
end of day Jan 27.

One is a finished project. I call this one "Another California." Note
the the drop down captions (if any) are the translation of the
Chinese.

The second one is for a project that has just get started. The info I
put down is
Evanescence: A project to capture the disappearing communities in
Salton Sea, California.

In this project, I hope to capture the disappearing diverse Salton Sea
area, including some of the remaining inhabitants. Comparing photos
from even 5-10 years ago show that evidence of human habitation is
swiftly disappearing along with the dying fish and bird populations.
While it is a dying world, I aim to capture the beauty found even
under these conditions.

Any final advise and suggestions are welcome. Thank you.
