My wife grew up in Evanston, north of Chicago, and I have visited
Chicago a few times. We lived in the Boston area for 12 years, until
one snowfall too many .... :-)

Any case, I think Boston is worse. The cutting wind that shear your
face off, is just a bit tough to handle.
