It is always a treat to find that soft overcast light ("zone good" I believe the term is). Although I have been in SoCal and north a lot on business, I have never made the Pilgrimage to Point Lobos. Maybe at the end of April. Given the exposure times in your files, it looks like tripods are no problem, unless you have an extraordinarily steady hand!
