But that tiny macro Elmar would be superb for travel I think. Trouble is locally there is just one for sale new and it is priced just higher than the Summilux 50ASPH. Admittedly that is for the set but still it sticks in my craw. As for Alastair I seem to recall that I foolishly pointed out his lens was available to buy at a very reasonable price locally and he snapped it up. Only fair that he should pass it on to me at some point. 2010/1/3 Nathan Wajsman <photo at frozenlight.eu> > You should have kept your 2.8/90mm, Geoff :-) > > Works great on my Bessa R2M now that I (temporarily) back to film. > > Cheers, > Nathan > > Nathan Wajsman > Alicante, Spain > http://www.frozenlight.eu > http://www.greatpix.eu > http://www.nathanfoto.com > > Books: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/search?search=wajsman&x=0&y=0 > PICTURE OF THE WEEK: http://www.fotocycle.dk/paws > Blog: http://www.fotocycle.dk/blog > > > > On Jan 3, 2010, at 12:56 AM, Geoff Hopkinson wrote: > > > That works well! > > Sigh, does this mean you aren't going to sell me that lens now? > > > > 2010/1/3 <afirkin at afirkin.com> > >> > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Alastair/album184/Hobart+Tasmania/Hobart09-5.jpg.html > >> http://tinyurl.com/y8ntbqo > >> > >> M9 with 90mm f4 > -- Cheers Geoff http://www.pbase.com/hoppyman
