If it was me I could easily have bounced my sb800 off the ceiling.
I do that all the time.
Making for the same modeling that ceiling lighting would.
And which I don't think is really so bad.  Down lighting.
But at f 8 not f 2. It would look like the real light in the room.
And with a blazingly fast in effect shutter speed instead of squeeze and
pray shudder speeds.

The speed in effect  becoming the flash duration.
