Given the less-than-cooperative nature of my chosen subjects I may have given myself a lifetime assignment... among my favorites, which IMHO begins to address this assignment is the Great Egret photo I first posted a couple of years ago: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/ardeidae/greg03.html The seemingly infinite variations in the details of the feather patterns are best seen in a print. Based on suggestions and PS techniques learned from LUGgers, I've re-worked this photo twice since it was first posted (more critique is welcome).
