Hi Bob,

Packard was my first choice, as well.  I can't find a photo to prove it, but 
I did find some showing a similar hood ornament.  Yes, they were very 
durable automobiles.  I rode along on an afternoon trip in a later Packard, 
and it was truly riding in style.
