It just takes a few secs to look at the layout and determine the ideal sizes. I'm sure everyone who has ever done a Blurb book knows the drill. This group has a lot of detail oriented folks and they want to present their stuff as well as possible. I'm away from my Blurb computer so I can't provide the figures folks are asking about right now. Not to worry. I had my choices ready but am trying for a worthy M9 shot now. See you in print ;-) 2009/12/9 Ric Carter <ricc at embarqmail.com> > my experience is that jim never crops our choices > > 3000 pixels wide for horizontals and 2500 pixels high for verticals should > be as big as you need for maximum quality for any layout in an 8X10 book we > use. > > set your jpegs to this size and highest quality and sRGB should maximize > your results > > Jim is doing a huge amount of work to put this together > > asking him to hold our hands through the whole process is asking a lot > > blurb has everything we need on its help pages > > ric > > > > On Dec 8, 2009, at 8:46 PM, Geoff Hopkinson wrote: > > > Jim, the previous books have different size images on the left page > > especially.
