What's not to like! Really nice image Jeff.

So why would you spend thousands on a lens and camera and not buy the UV
filter for a hundred or so?
Just curious,

If I can actually manage to nail focus on the eyes (something I find
Nocti-challenging), and just embrace the muted and slightly odd colors
and the textures from the combination of the wide-open-f/1.0-Noctilux
with no IR filter and an M8 at ISO 1250, I kind of like the result.
