Your right Marty sorry dyslexia strikes every five minutes when it comes to
me still I think we're talking about two lenes with almost no flare issues.
A good reason to pick another parameter to discuses with them.
Flare also to me never that big a reason to think about a lens.

I actually do  have one lens that I use which has a flare issue which I have
to think about.
And when I use it I'm just a little bit more careful and its no big deal.
And stopping down helps if it seems hard to avoid in a shot.

Its my Nikkor 14mm 2.8.
ts only slightly haunted.

I cost me a grand and a half.
Its way to heavy.
It doesn't have to be so fast.
But I do love it anyway.

I'm sure if it was an f 3.5 there would be no flare issue.
It would performs twice as well and cost twice as less.
