I had to admit to myself though that it -can- be hard to find photo opportunities in one's daily environment. In the case of one's home, familiarity may not breed contempt, but it does often prevent me from really seeing. It's too easy to go through the days on auto-pilot without noticing the things most familiar to myself. Sonny's challenge reminded me that when I make the effort even the most familiar and mundane can be photographic fodder. Hence, I'm posting two images made at a location where I spend far too much time: the living room couch. Neither was made with a Leica, however, and they're not masterpieces by any stretch of the imagination, just daily life moments when the light broke through my stupor, made me take notice and record it. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/shudaizi/3557357781_8a93119c66_o.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/shudaizi/3678413299_bffc21b25c_o.jpg.html Kevin Landdeck ============= Only connect. ============= bamboozld at gmail.com shudaizi photography: http://www.flickr.com/photos/shudaizi/ > > Why don't you guys just get into a posting frenzy, so some of us > guys who > post week in and week out won't feel so lonely out here? > > You know, you don't have to go halfway around the Earth on an > amazingly > expensive holiday to take a flipping picture.
