I'm currently experimenting a different approach - used to do as you are 
now doing BTW - I find it sometimes works better when you get the 
luminosity 'punched up' a bit, and then recover some blacks with the 
black slider. I even tried decreasing contrast to keep the highlights 
within range. But I'm not using an MD-igital, so the RAW files must have 
different characteristics.
Anyway, this photo has real potential to immensely please both the young 
lady and the photographer, not to mention family and luggers.
