True.
"Good enough" can certainly produce income.
The base of the pyramid is large and good enough.

During my career I've watched quality descend.
The commercial studio I started in did all their best work with 8x10.
By the time I started shooting commercially on my own
it was almost unheard of
with 4x5 and 6x6 being the high end formats.

In the early days of so called "medium format" digital
the high end backs were 6 megapixel.
Now they're 60.

We simply don't know what any given market may demand next year.
(at least I don't)

Certainly if we're shooting for the internet - we already have way  
more quality than will ever be seen.
