I have moaned about prices of various plastic bits or the fact that a lens costing 1000 Euro is delivered wtihout a lens hood. I think Leica has the best glass in the world and I do not mind paying for it. On the other hand, I do not think Leica has any particular advantage when it comes to plastic, so any time I can get an aftermarket alternative, whether a grip or a hood or cap, I go for that.
