Larry - I suspect your nit-picker is right.  My 1960's Stone Horse  
brochure says the boat "first appeared in the 1930's."  There was an  
earlier similar boat, also designed by Crocker, I believe, with a  
trunk cabin.  Perhaps that's what you were thinking of.
