Black Cod rules supreme.

We catch them in Puget Sound near Seattle. Very tender and tasty.

They also can give you a nasty bite with their itty-bitty needle teeth
when you try to remove the hook!

Well worth it not to substitute - not the same fish as the Portuguese
catch in the Atlantic.

Oodles of great Black Cod recipes. Don't overlook Japanese cuisine
here, either.

Bon Appetit!

I regard this list as the fount of all knowledge, so I have turned
here for help. I have been given a recipe book by the Alaskan Tourist
people which features, amongst others, recipes for Alaskan Black Cod.
Is there any difference between that and ordinary cod to anyone other
than an Alaskan fisherman (or Sarah Palin)?
