As far as small format captures equaling medium format film that was wishful
thinking from the tens of thousands of shlock wedding photographers who gave
away their Hasselblads for nothing so they could be involved in the digital
workflo. They never really needed medium format film quality in the first
place they just needed something which looked and worked like a Hasselblad
and shot squares.
