The Castle Museum alone takes about 2 to 3 hours, the National Railway Museum another 2, the Minster an hour, at the Jorvik centre you normally have to queue for about an hour and then even fitting in a pub, a Cornish Pasty and a decent coffee gets difficult. The trip up the river to the Bishop's palace is a good one on a sunny day, but we never seem to be able to find the time, even though we usually spend the whole day there. Cheers and thanks for looking Douglas Richard Taylor wrote: > I had no idea those gardens were there.
