I know doctors who use their stethoscopes as reflex hammers, and  
workmen that hammer nails with their screwdriver...
more power to them...

but so what...

the whole concept of a tool is a device evolved, developed, made to  
get something done in the easiest, most direct and efficient  
fashion...the KISS principle, Occam's razor, logic, what ever suggests  
that the best tool is that which gets the job done easier,  
better...it's  to help you...

it's not something made to prove that the job can be done in an   
atypical way, to be different, or eccentric...
