Flash is what Nikons are for. It's not that I don't like flash with
the M8 or 8.2, I simply never use a flash with a Leica M. They have
always been available light cameras for me and they always will be.
When I travel, I don't take a flash - I have a Noctilux and fast film.
It would be nice if Leica could find a way to make the shutter
quiet and have a 1/250 synch speed and a 1/8000 top shutter speed, but
if that's not possible I'll take quiet over fast for my purposes. I'm
not doubting that it is a problem for some people, it just isn't for
me.
