We had a Canon Workshop here 2 weeks ago, and as it would happen we had a 
rain soaked day for the workshop. ?We went out anyway. ?I took the R8/DMR 
out and of course over the day it got wet from the rain. ?It worked just 
fine, all I did was just make sure it did not get soaked, done by wiping it 
off as required. ?The R8 is pretty well protected for rain, but I was not 
sure about the DMR and primarily the connections between the two since there 
is no gasket between them. ? It would appear, that short of being dropped in 
a lake or similar body of water, the R8/DMR will be just fine. ?;-)
