Perhaps the issue for APPLE is its not the size and how many they'd sell but
the price point.
They can't start selling computers like they're iPods and iPhones.
They have to make that distinction.

Yes they are loosing money to people who like to NOT make that distinction
and blur the line. And buy and use mini laptops not hand helds...

But not enough to make Apple want to ruin their market for laptops selling
for thousands; not hundreds.

They're not going to soon someday say
"Lets start selling these babies for hundreds not thousands"

To hell with what their customers what; apple wants ALL the dough.
"let them eat iPhones"
I'm sure is what Jobs says;
Before eating his morning croissant.
