It's been a few years since I owned one, but IMsubjectiveO the classic 50mm
Summilux is very close.

Okay, I'll let the cat out of the bag.

I have an M8 in the mail, coming to me.

So, while I daydream and wait, I would like you opinions on "which 50mm
lens is "most like the 75mm Summilux f1.4"", in terms of image rendering
qualities, bokeh, etc?

I won't be able to afford a 75/1.4 now (the other object of my
irrational lust), but with the M8, all my 50's become 75's.

Maybe I won't ever need a 75 'lux.

Vick
