I was really impressed with the way Singapore recycles its old colonial buildings - unlike Hong Kong which just tears almost everything down to build glass and steel. The National Museum is an example for all museums - with free tape lecture machines - and two paths to follow - the historical and the personal history. The day I was there the place was crawling with school students ion yellow T shirts doing a geographic challenge - and it was a Saturday. They were having fun even as they learned.
