Cars yes !
Drivers still have their specific regional ways of doing things :-[
For instance, flashing your headlights in the UK means 'please do as it 
suits you, I'll park into the ditch if necessary' whereas on the 
continent it means 'get out of the way I'm fast or bigger, or more 
righteous than you are', or 'slow down, police radar ahead', or, 'oops, 
I mistook the lights for the windscreen wipers', etc...
