One of my 3 SB800's hot shoe is a bit loose, but we're talking about 4 years 
of allot of use now. Pretty solid otherwise.

Is the metal mount weaker than the camera's flash shoe?  I'd rather the
flash be the weak link when the junction is over-stressed.
