Thanks Tina,

I've been using it for years - it's called BW Converter from 
Photo-Plugins.com.

Unfortunately it's only for those of us using "Gatesware".

A couple of other things I discovered are here:

also only for PC - I contacted the bloke who programmes the stuff the 
other day, he lives down in the South of Germany, a very pleasant chap.

His perspective correction tool is great fun to play with and, once 
you've got used to the idea behind it - which was totally new to me - it 
is very effective and even includes an automatic cropping function.
