Then, I'd put the camera under my velvet jacket to recock the shutter. It's not the volume. The shutter noise is so short, and most people would not know what made the sound. The recocking "whirrrrr" says "look, I have a camera here!!!!" even though it's quieter. I wish I had the new firmware on Sunday.
