Then came the two year old rescue - Frost (for those that don't know - my 150 lb Great Pyrenees dog) Ann and I agreed to share responsibility with Frost But it ended up where Frost was with me 24/7 at the office, at meetings, where I went he went. He was a delightful companion, yet we were chained together. Just not ready for that commitment and sole responsibility, again. I'm enjoying holding and focusing the camera without a leash on my wrist. Ann's daughter moved out at around 20 yrs old Frost died about the same time Erin moved out. Erin moved back in about 8 or 9 months ago with the two cats she acquired while away. The cats are just here. And I don't clean the litter boxes. ;~) Regards, George Lottermoser george at imagist.com http://www.imagist.com http://www.imagist.com/blog http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist On Mar 16, 2009, at 3:41 PM, Steve Barbour wrote: > > On Mar 16, 2009, at 11:38 AM, George Lottermoser wrote: > >> Douglas, >> >> I live with 5 (five) cats. >> One of them is always on the lap >> (when not working) whether I want them or not. >> When I do want one on my lap - they can't be found. >> They have no respect for furniture and will not learn; >> climbing all over any and everything. >> They destroy things with their claws >> (and no I won't rip their claws out). >> >> I'm still a dog person at heart. > > > which leaves an important question George ...why do you have 5 cats > and no dogs? > > Steve > > >> >> Cats take. >> Dogs giver. >> >> YMMV. >> >> 40+ years of zen practice >> has taught me how >> to wind down and relax. >> The cats teach me how to sleep. >> >> ;~) >> >> Regards, >> George Lottermoser >> george at imagist.com >> http://www.imagist.com >> http://www.imagist.com/blog >> http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist >> >> >> >> >> >> On Mar 16, 2009, at 11:12 AM, Douglas Sharp wrote: >> >>> George, >>> >>> Live with cats - they teach you how to wind down and relax :-) >>> >>> Cheers >>> Douglas >>> >>> George Lottermoser wrote: >>>> can't lose >>>> when you spend time >>>> with kids with dogs >>>> they'll teach you how to live >>>> >>>> lovely feeling in these photographs >>>> >>>> Regards, >>>> George Lottermoser >>>> george at imagist.com >>>> http://www.imagist.com >>>> http://www.imagist.com/blog >>>> http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagist >>>> >>>> On Mar 13, 2009, at 10:09 AM, Steve Barbour wrote: >>>> >>>>> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/ >>>>> ionatikwa.jpg.html >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW+2009/ >>>>> ionatikwa2.jpg.html >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> thank you for looking, >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> Steve >>>>> >>>>> _______________________________________________ >>>>> Leica Users Group. >>>>> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more >>>>> information >>>> >>>> >>>> _______________________________________________ >>>> Leica Users Group. >>>> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more >>>> information >>>> >>> >>> _______________________________________________ >>> Leica Users Group. >>> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Leica Users Group. >> See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
