I use an Olympus 4/3 DSLR camera which will take Leica-R lenses, but, because of its mirror housing, is too deep to permit the use of Leica-M lenses. I use a Leica-R 2.8/28mm as a "normal" prime lens, giving me an effective view of a 56mm lens on a standard 35mm camera. This works out fine for me.
